Loxo advertises Core starting at $149 and Professional starting at $199 per user per month in a limited-time new-customer offer. Both advertised plans are billed annually and paid up front. Enterprise uses a custom quote. We checked the offer on September 6, 2026; confirm eligibility and your quoted rate before signing.

The seat prices are the easy part. Your year-one budget also needs agent usage, any Boosts, migration and the tools you keep. This guide separates the known subscription math from costs that need a quote. The key plan distinction is access to native Loxo Source and its agent workflows.

## What Loxo publishes in 2026, and where sourcing actually sits

Loxo now shows public prices for its two seat plans. Its [official pricing page](https://loxo.co/pricing) lists what each plan includes. The table below uses Loxo’s current offer, captured on the date shown.

| Plan | Limited-time new-customer starting price | What it includes |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Core | From $149 / user / month, billed annually, paid up front | Applicant tracking, recruiting CRM, pipelines, activities, reporting, email and calendar sync, the Chrome extension, and natural-language AI search across your own records |
| Professional | From $199 / user / month, billed annually, paid up front | Everything in Core, plus Loxo Source and its 850M+ profiles, the AI agents, outreach, AI Chat and Notetaker, the hiring-manager portal, client reports, API access, and 2,500 pooled credits per user each month |
| Enterprise | Custom quote | Everything in Professional, plus SSO and SAML, advanced governance, advanced roles and permissions, a dedicated success team, and priority support |

_Source: [Loxo’s pricing page](https://loxo.co/pricing), checked September 6, 2026._

The public offer specifies annual prepayment. It does not establish every billing arrangement or minimum commitment available through sales. It also advertises a seven-day Professional trial. Another [official Loxo ATS resource](https://www.loxo.co/resources/applicant-tracking-software) still mentions a free plan, so confirm current availability rather than assuming the trial is the only free option.

## Why Core and Professional are two different buying decisions

At the advertised promotional starting rates, the subscription gap is $50 per user per month. Core includes applicant tracking, a recruiting CRM and natural-language AI search. For a desk that manages its pipeline here and handles sourcing separately, those capabilities may fit.

Professional adds native Loxo Source, the external database of 850M+ profiles, and agent workflows. Its credits meter completed agent work. The decision is whether your team wants these capabilities inside Loxo, and whether they improve the way your desk works.

Start with your workflow. Core may suit a desk that manages warm relationships or uses separate sourcing tools. Compare Professional if you want native Loxo Source and its agents. Our [recruiting software pricing comparison](https://www.leonar.app/blog/pricing-comparison/) gives you another public baseline for that call.

## What 2,500 Loxo credits actually cover on a live desk

Credits are the part most buyers underestimate. On Professional, Loxo includes 2,500 credits per user each month. Those credits are pooled across your team. Five seats share a pool of 12,500 credits a month, not five separate buckets.

Loxo describes credits as the meter for completed agent work: screening, evaluating candidates, outreach and searches. You can inspect activity in the Agent Impact Center. Contact information may arrive with a shortlist, but the pricing FAQ does not define credits as a per-contact reveal allowance.

To forecast usage, list the searches, screening, evaluations and outreach you expect each month. Ask Loxo to demonstrate representative jobs and explain how the recorded actions consume credits, without double-counting work within a full search. Keep consumption rates unpriced until confirmed. There is no supported light or heavy contact-volume threshold for exhausting the pool.

Boosts increase selected seats to 5,000 credits (2x), 12,500 (5x), or a custom level. Those credits still pool across the team. Loxo says Boosts can be resized, but their prices come from the account team. Request the price and billing terms for the specific seats that need extra capacity.

## When your desk needs native Loxo Source and agents

Core excludes native Loxo Source. Professional is the published tier to compare when you want that talent graph and its agent workflows. That is a product boundary, not a claim that Core users cannot source candidates through other tools.

Budget for the whole workflow. Compare Core plus any sourcing subscriptions you retain with Professional plus any quoted Boosts. Test whether the native workflow replaces enough work or tools to justify the difference. Contact volume alone cannot establish payback.

A desk that mainly works its own network may not need the talent graph. It could still value other Professional features, so test the features your team will use before choosing a tier.

## A year-one budget worksheet for a six-person agency desk

Take an agency with six users for twelve months. These are illustrative subscription subtotals at the limited-time new-customer starting rates, assuming eligibility and unchanged seats. They are not all-in quotes.

Year one, six users: illustrative promotional subscription subtotals

- **Core at the advertised starting rate:** 6 × $149 × 12 = **$10,728 per year**
- **Professional at the advertised starting rate:** 6 × $199 × 12 = **$14,328 per year**
- **Included credits on Professional:** 6 × 2,500 = 15,000 pooled credits each month
- **Agent usage forecast:** list monthly searches, screening, evaluations and outreach; consumption rates unknown, unpriced until confirmed
- **Boosts if required:** quote needed for selected seats and billing duration
- **Migration/setup:** quote needed for scope and any setup charges. Core migration is advertised free for teams of 3+ seats, with guided self-serve below that. Professional, Enterprise and complex/custom migrations are scoped as fixed packages before signing
- **Retained tools and taxes:** add your known tool subscriptions and applicable tax
- **Enterprise:** custom quote needed

The illustrative Core subscription subtotal is $10,728; Professional is $14,328 at those promotional starting rates. Add quoted migration/setup, any Boosts, retained tools and tax to obtain a year-one budget. Unknown lines are not zero-cost assumptions.

The subscription difference is $3,600 for six seats over twelve months at those rates. Professional includes 15,000 pooled monthly credits for that team, alongside native Loxo Source and the agents. Whether the difference is worthwhile depends on demonstrated workflow value and the complete quotes.

Leave the usage and Boost cost lines marked “quote needed” until a trial shows the credits used by your jobs. Confirm the migration package before signing too. For this six-seat example, Core meets the advertised free-migration seat threshold; ask which records and services that covers.

## What can change your Loxo bill after year one

Public seat pages do not show every contract term. They also do not fix one renewal rule for every buyer. A few items deserve a written answer before you sign.

Ask whether the new-customer starting rate applies to your contract and what happens when the offer or first term ends. Ask when seats can be added or removed and how that changes payment. Confirm what happens when credits run out, Boost billing duration and resize terms. Request the migration/setup scope and any separate fees in writing. Enterprise governance and support terms also need a quote.

These are questions, not fees you should assume. They turn unknown terms into facts you can compare. That keeps your year-two budget as clear as your year-one worksheet.

## Who Loxo actually suits at this price

Loxo may fit an agency that wants ATS, CRM and native sourcing in one platform. Core may suit a warm desk or a team retaining separate sourcing tools. Professional is worth testing when native Loxo Source and agent workflows are priorities; forecast agent usage before adding a Boost budget.

Check whether Professional features will see regular use. Read [what recruiters say about Loxo in 2026](https://www.leonar.app/blog/loxo-reviews/) for the wider product view, then compare workflow results with the full quoted cost.

## Where a published seat price changes the maths

Leonar publishes seat prices for Starter and Professional. In US dollars, the monthly rates are $119 and $199 per user. A 12-month term billed monthly lowers them to $109 and $169. Annual prepayment lowers them to $95 and $149. Enterprise is bespoke.

Those numbers are the seat subscription, not the whole bill. The Professional plan includes AI sourcing across 870M+ profiles. Reveals and AI actions draw on consumable credits. This is a different meter from Loxo’s completed-agent-work model; do not transfer reveal rates between vendors. A verified email is one credit, billed only when found. A verified mobile number is five. Optional credit packs and add-ons can change the amount you pay.

| Budget item | Loxo | Leonar |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Published seat price | Core from $149 and Professional from $199 per user/month: limited-time new-customer offer, annual prepayment; Enterprise custom | Starter $119 and Professional $199 per user; annual prepaid $95 and $149; Enterprise custom |
| External sourcing database | Loxo Source, 850M+ profiles, included on Professional, excluded from Core | AI sourcing across 870M+ profiles, included on Professional |
| Usage meter | Professional: 2,500 credits per user/month for agent work, pooled and refreshed monthly; consumption rates and Boost prices need confirmation | Consumable credits; verified email 1 credit, verified mobile 5 credits |
| Billing term | Advertised offer: annual, paid up front; ask about other billing and minimum commitment | Monthly, annual commitment, or annual prepaid |
| Free trial | 7 days on the full Professional platform | 7 days, Professional level, 50 credits, no card required |

The useful contrast is about known seat rates and clear billing choice. It is not a claim that every data cost is fixed. ## Is Loxo worth its price for your agency?

Loxo offers Core for ATS and CRM workflows, and Professional adds native sourcing and agents. The advertised limited-time new-customer starting rates are $149 and $199 per user per month, paid annually up front. Compare those subscription amounts alongside migration and measured agent usage.
